About Us

Arron and Cassie met the modern day fairytale way - on Bumble. Faith then serendipitously brought them together at Blackhawk on the night of Cassie’s sister‘s wedding. Arron may have been down $400, but his luck was about to change. He was hesitant about dating someone with a dog, as he already had two of his own, but Lola’s goofiness won him over. In the time they have been together, Arron and Cassie have traveled to Illinois, California, Nevada, Washington, Hawaii, South Dakota, Texas, Mexico, Florida, and Iceland. In Iceland, Arron took a leap of faith in asking Cassie to marry him. He said he was only 70% confident she would say yes (as they hadn’t had any of the traditional pre-engagement conversations to ensure they were on the same page)…but, he is a gambling man. Cassie and Arron could not think of a better way to say "I do" than on vacation surrounded by those they love. Please join us in celebrating our boda (i.e., wedding) and count how many times Cassie and Arron perplex the locals with their Spanish language abilities (or lack their of).

Please reach out to Cassie to ask questions at any time (seriously…she loves questions). The nearest airport (i.e., about 20 minutes) is Cancun International Airport (CUN). We highly recommend you book through our website and stay at the resort (please reach out to me if you have any doubts about staying at the resort). We have chosen one of the most budget-friendly, all-inclusive resorts in the area. Everything you need (and more) is at the resort. As part of your package, you can also book round-trip transportation to and from the airport - no need to leave anything up to chance when you fly in or out. Finally, we recommend arriving on Thursday (5/21/26) at the latest; feel free to stay through the weekend as Monday (5/25/26) is Memorial Day. Please note there is a 3-night minimum stay requirement at this point. As it gets closer and the resort fills up, you can expect the resort to issue a 4-night minimum stay requirement. So, please book as soon as possible.

Wedding Itinerary

Welcome Pool Party

May 21st, 11:00am – 4:00pm
Location: Private Cabana by the Pool

(Times are tentative) Wear your bathing suit and join us for a casual hangout by the pool as we welcome guests to the resort as they arrive. Feel free to stop by for a few minutes or spend all day with us as we enjoy the cabana, swim-up bar, and pool snacks.

Rehearsal (wedding party and immediate family only)

May 21st, 5:00pm – 5:30pm
Location: Sky Terrace

Help us practice walk outs and timing for the special day. It will be hot, so wear something you will be comfortable in (e.g., shorts and a short sleeve button up, dress or skirt, shorts and blouse - please no gym wear or bathing suits)

Wedding

May 22nd, 4:00pm – 10:00pm
Location: Begin at Sky Terrace Wedding Venue

The night will begin at the Sky Terrace (i.e., located on the 9th floor - although most of the venue is outdoors, there is a portion of the venue that has air conditioning). Around 5:30pm, we will head to the Grazie Ocean View Terrace (be aware there is no elevator available, but it is only one flight of stairs) for dinner and dancing. At 10:00, for anyone wanting to continue the party, we will head to the on-property dance club. Please wear beach formal attire - please no shorts.

Catamaran

May 23rd, 12:00pm – 6:00pm
Location: Pick up in Lobby - set sail from Puerto Morelos

(Times are tentative) Join us as newly weds as we sail off into the sunset for a catamaran and snorkeling adventure. This is optional and has an additional cost of approximately $105 per person. Discover the second-largest and most majestic coral reef in the world. Wear comfortable shoes and clothes; bring a swimsuit, coral reef safe sunscreen, sunglasses, extra cash, a towel and a change of clothes. Included is the round-trip transportation to the marina, snorkeling equipment, catamaran adventure, drinks, and music. Make sure you eat beforehand and bring a snack.

Farewell Brunch

May 24th, 10:00am – 12:00am
Location: Gourmet Marché International Buffet

(Times are tentative) For those of you who must go, please stop by and say bye before you head out to catch your flight. We will be staying until Monday (5/25/26) and we would love for our loved ones to stay as long as they can. Attire is casual.
